Kate has hands on experience of proactive and reactive sales along with event organisation and people management. She launched Selling Savvy in 2018 because she is passionate about delivering effective workshops and mentoring that gives teams the opportunity to be empowered to make the right strategic decisions, whilst having strong backing from their management.

Amanda has over 25 years’ experience within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry. She has a proven record of implementing strategies that has increased company’s profitability. Amanda understands that independent businesses have to work a lot harder to win business and stand out from the crowd. She has a passion and clear focus to achieve those new sales.

Becky Whitaker


Becky has over 25 years’ experience working in the tourism and hospitality sector including time spent with Visit Britain and 11 years with Marriott Hotels. She set up and managed the Marriott Yorkshire Cluster Event Sales office as well as helping write the SOP’s nationwide. Becky loves the industry because it is built on making people smile!

Femke has been in the event and hospitality industry since 2002 and has set up MICE cluster offices, worked to implement new yield management systems and managed large reactive sales teams. Femke is extremely passionate about the event industry and absolutely loves passing my enthusiasm, experience and conversion ideas onto sales teams!
