Brief: Building a Consistent and Strategic LinkedIn Presence
High 5 Events is a successful event management company who approached Selling Savvy to help them create a more unified and professional presence on LinkedIn. Team members were using LinkedIn in disconnected and inconsistent ways, with no shared strategy or message, which needed addressing.
The company had built a strong reputation in the industry, but if they could achieve an increased online visibility, project a clearer brand, and approach client engagement strategically, their business could go to the next level. The goal for High 5 was to ensure the team understood the value of LinkedIn, to feel confident using it, to reconnect with existing clients and attract new business.
Having worked with us previously during the COVID-19 period, High 5’s director Sue Turner had already seen the positive impact of our training. She returned to us with a renewed focus – to create a cohesive and proactive approach to LinkedIn for the whole team.
Solution: A Targeted and Practical LinkedIn Training Session
We designed a three-hour virtual training session, delivered in January 2025, specifically for the High 5 Events team. The session focused on building both individual confidence and team alignment, and included:
- How to optimise LinkedIn profiles to reflect personal brand and professional strengths.
- Understanding LinkedIn’s algorithm and how to use it for increased reach and visibility.
- Strategic engagement techniques for connecting with clients and nurturing relationships.
- Creating and sharing content that reflects company values and supports business objectives.
- Consistency in messaging, so the team presents a united, polished presence which enhances the company brand.
Selling Savvy delivered the training virtually to accommodate the whole team, and we included interactive exercises as well as time for individual questions and profile feedback. The emphasis was on giving them practical, actionable advice they could implement immediately.
Results: Confidence, Consistency and Client Reconnection
The session had an immediate impact as we saw team members coming away with clarity and enthusiasm when using LinkedIn by the end of the training. The company’s presence on LinkedIn began to grow, with everyone engaging more proactively and consistently with both clients.
We were delighted to see that the benefits of our training also extended to the team feeling more connected, more empowered, and more confident online.
“Everybody was doing their own thing, and I wanted to bring everybody together on the same page so that we were all approaching it from a team perspective.”
Sue Turner
Since the session, High 5 Events has:
- Seen a notable increase in followers on their company LinkedIn page.
- Re-established contact with past clients who re-engaged after seeing posts and updates.
- Adopted a more proactive approach to client engagement, both online and offline.
“We’ve seen an increase in followers to our company site and are back in contact with clients of old, which is really good news. We’re excited about the future and have a much more proactive approach now.”
Sue Turner
